Only one entry will be accepted per person and is subject to holding a valid ticket to BrewCon2017.
The draw will take place at lunchtime at BrewCon2017 with one entrant’s name been drawn at random.
The winner will be announced at that time and they must be in attendance to claim the prize.
If the winner cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter is The National Homebrew Club in conjunction with Grainfather & The Homebrew Company.
The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material.
No cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The winner will be chosen from all entries received and verified by the promoter by 22nd April 2017.
The National Homebrew Club also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
The National Homebrew Club shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions.
The National Homebrew Club’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Club Night
What is Club Night?
As well as access to the conference, getting your lunch and the infamous ‘BrewCon’ goodie bag, this year we are introducing a Club Night.
Club Night is a chance for all the homebrew clubs to collaborate & showcase their finest brewed creations.
There will also be a range of commercial beers available, featuring the best brews from local microbreweries for attendees to sample.
When is Club Night?
After the main conference has ended, attendees will have exclusive access to Club Night.
This is a prime opportunity to meet with international & local industry experts, from the producers to fellow brewers, both professional & amateur.
It is also the time for all club members to be able to catch up with other & catch up over a pint.
- Launch of BrewCon 2017 – Broaden Your Brewing
This years event will be held in Dublin on Saturday 29th April.
This year’s theme will be “Broaden Your Brewing”. As ever we will look to enable brewers to hone their skills and produce better, more consistent beers.
Our keynote speaker is Mr John Palmer, author of How to Brew, Brewing Classical Styles and Water: A Comprehensive Guide for Brewers. Also speaking will be Brandon Jones from Embracethefunk.com and head of sour production at Yazoo Brewing Company in Nashville, USA.
Tickets for NHC members will be released Wednesday 22nd February. General sales begin 1st March.
We are expecting high demand and once we have hit capacity that will unfortunately be it as the venue has a strict maximum attendance.
As always included in the cost of the ticket is a lucky bag of goodies full of homebrewing treats, entrance to the morning and afternoon conference in Smock Alley with an ever growing list of amazing speakers, an artisan two course lunch with a beer/tea/coffee and entry to NHC Club Night after the event.
